The creatives, consultants, small business owners and tiny teams who’ve spent another year doing all the things.
Because just because you work for yourself (or there are only a few of you) doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get a Christmas party too.
So, consider this your invitation to clock off, dress up a little, grab a glass and come celebrate everything you’ve made it through, built, created and carried this year.
The Small Business Christmas Party is a special Sweet Gatherings event by The Corner Store Armidale x New England Cake Co, created as a relaxed, beautiful end of year celebration for our local small business community.
And no, this isn’t a networking event.
There are no awkward icebreakers. No business cards required (unless you want to.) And no workshop to sit through.
Just a beautiful Christmas afternoon with good food, something lovely to drink, music playing, people to meet, plenty of conversation and a room full of others who understand what it’s like to do this small business thing too.
AND because it wouldn't be Sweet Gatherings without something sweet...
Throughout the afternoon, our **Sweet Gatherings Christmas Cake Bar** will be open.
Think beautiful cupcakes, festive buttercreams, piping bags, sprinkles, pearls and all the Christmas bits, ready for you to wander over and create something sweet whenever you feel like it.
No formal cake class. No everyone-decorates-at-once moment.
Just a playful little Christmas experience to enjoy between drinks, food and conversation.
Your ticket includes:
🧁 Four cupcakes to decorate at our Sweet Gatherings Christmas Cake Bar, with a box to take your creations home (we won’t tell if all four don’t make it into the box!)
🥂 Champagne, wine, tea + sparkling water to enjoy throughout the afternoon
🍴 A beautiful grazing table to nibble from

🎶 Music, mingling + a proper chance to clock off
