OUR BUSINESS | OUR FUTURE
Coming Together for Indigenous Business Month 2026 Local & Connected
Sisters Our Way: Local & Connected is more than a business event.
It is an investment in the economic strength, capability and collective power of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in business.
Designed as a First Nations women’s business gathering, the event creates space for women to connect, share knowledge, strengthen capability and build relationships and opportunities that continue well beyond the day.
Our journey moves from:
ME → MY BUSINESS → OUR BUSINESSES → OUR COMMUNITY → OUR FUTURE
Because sustainable business growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when women have access to the knowledge, relationships, networks and opportunities they need to move from:
STARTING → SUSTAINING → GROWING → EMPLOYING → INVESTING → LEADING
Representation matters. But being invited into the room is only the beginning.
Sisters Our Way is about creating the conditions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women to move beyond visibility towards meaningful economic participation, ownership, growth and influence.
We don't simply want First Nations women represented in conversations about economic opportunity. We want women resourced, connected, contracted, invested in and supported to grow.
