This exciting open class is a unique opportunity to work with Robbie in a high-energy Musical Theatre dance session while gaining valuable experience performing for the camera.
Open to all dancers aged 14 years+, with class content taught at an Intermediate/Advanced.
The class will be professionally filmed throughout, giving dancers the opportunity to perform for the camera in a professional studio environment. Footage from the session will be made available to attendees following the event, providing valuable content for portfolios, auditions and social media.
Musical Theatre performers interested in joining QCD in 2027 may use this session as an audition opportunity for our Full-Time or Part-Time Pre-Professional Musical Theatre programs.
When registering, please select the ticket type that best reflects whether you intend to audition or are attending the session as a non-audition participant.

MEET ROBBIE
Robbie McMillan is an accomplished international performer, dancer and choreographer, with an extensive career spanning musical theatre, classical ballet, commercial dance and the cruise industry.
Having trained at Centre of Dance, The Ritz Performing Arts Centre and Queensland Ballet’s Professional Year programme, Robbie has gone on to establish an impressive career across Australia, the UK and internationally.
His extensive musical theatre credits include Beetlejuice (West End) as Dance Captain and Swing, The Devil Wears Prada (Theatre Royal Plymouth), Guys & Dolls (Bridge Theatre, West End), Mary Poppins (West End), Anything Goes (Barbican, West End), White Christmas (West End and Leicester Curve), Chess (London Coliseum), Cats(International Tour and Kilworth House), Flashdance (UK Tour), The Sound of Music (Estonia), Guys & Dolls (Paris), and the National Theatre Gala 2022, among others.
Robbie’s classical ballet career includes performing with Queensland Ballet and the Paris Opera Ballet during its 2009 Australian Tour, as well as working as an Associate Artist with Australasian Dance Collective. His repertoire with Queensland Ballet includes The Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, The Little Mermaid, The Nutcracker, Carmen, Fonteyn Remembered and Romeo & Juliet, alongside numerous contemporary works.
Beyond his performance career, Robbie has expanded into choreography and creative direction, serving as Choreographer for High Society at Arts Educational Schools in 2025 and Assistant Choreographer for My Fair Ladyat Leicester Curve in 2024.
His diverse professional experience also includes performing aboard Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean, as well as competing on the Australian television series So You Think You Can Dance.
With a wealth of international industry experience across stage, screen and live entertainment, Robbie brings a versatile artistic perspective and a deep understanding of professional performance to his work with emerging dancers and performers.
