AIMS New User Training

AIMS New User is a 90 minute online small group session for those new to AIMS.

The session will provide an overview of the key functions within AIMS, with a focus on helping new users understand how to navigate the system, access relevant asset information, and manage maintenance requirements.

Participants will explore:

• Navigating AIMS and understanding the key areas of the system
• Understanding school assets, facilities and available information
• Creating, managing and monitoring maintenance work orders
• Managing routine maintenance and annual contract activities
• Understanding the relationship between AIMS and school maintenance budgets
• Using AIMS to record and track maintenance activity
• Understanding roles and responsibilities for school users
• Accessing support, guidance and resources through the AIMS Knowledge Centre

The session is practical and designed to build confidence for staff who are new to AIMS or require a refresher on using the system effectively.

By the end of the session, participants will have a clearer understanding of how AIMS supports effective facilities management and how to use the system to manage their school's maintenance requirements.
