About

In 2022 Council adopted the Lilydale Major Activity Centre Structure Plan. The Structure Plan provides high‑level directions for where growth should occur in the Lilydale Activity Centre and the type of development that is appropriate. It was developed over several years, using expert studies and community feedback.

To implement the vision and directions of the Structure Plan, changes to the Yarra Ranges Planning Scheme are now required. Amendment C218yran puts into place the land use and development actions in the Structure Plan by making changes to the Yarra Ranges Planning Scheme.

These sessions are available for residents and business owners to meet with a member of the Strategic planning team, where you can ask questions and find out more about the particulars of the proposed changes.
