GRIEF FIRST AID (ONLINE)
Build the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to support people experiencing grief and loss.
Grief can affect people in many ways, yet those experiencing it can often feel misunderstood, overlooked or unsure about where to turn for support.
The Grief First Aid (GFA) course provides participants with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to recognise grief, understand its many forms, and respond to adults experiencing loss with empathy and compassion.
With 80% of grieving employees reporting that they do not receive meaningful support, and 30% saying their grief is not acknowledged, workplaces can sometimes mistake grief-related behaviours for performance concerns. This can create unnecessary risk, misunderstanding and harm.
Becoming a Grief First Aider gives you the tools to help change this. You will learn how to create safe and supportive conversations, reduce the stigma surrounding grief, and help colleagues, friends and community members access the support they need.
By building your grief literacy, you can contribute to a workplace culture where grief is recognised, conversations are welcomed, and people feel heard, respected and supported.
Build your grief literacy and become a confident source of support.
