Location
Kensington Community Aquatic and Recreation Centre
About
Our Women in Sport Forum and Networking event brings together women from sport and recreation groups that use City of Melbourne facilities. You may be a committee member, volunteer, coach or are looking to move into a leadership position with your sporting club at the City of Melbourne. This event aims to help you to connect, share experiences, celebrate contributions and assists with shaping future leadership, networking and development opportunities.
This event includes:
A panel forum with 4 fantastic female sport and recreation leaders from City of Melbourne sport and recreation clubs from Tennis Victoria, Melbourne University Touch Football, Dynamo Football Club and Youlden Parkville Cricket Club
Followed by a morning tea and networking
Then some time for pickleball – an opportunity to try this sport while connecting with others
We look forward to seeing you there.
This session is part of Melbourne Girls Can, which is a three-week period, from Monday 9 to Sunday 29 November 2026, during which we promote ‘come and try’ opportunities for women and girls. Our mission? To make physical activity accessible and enjoyable for everyone, so more women and girls can experience the joy and benefits of being active.
