About

Lentiviral vectors (LVV) play an established role in cell and gene therapy, particularly in the development and manufacture of ex vivo cell therapies. As the field develops, advances in vector design, manufacturing and targeted delivery are also opening potential new applications, including direct in vivo cell engineering.

This BioForum will examine current cell therapy development and the role of LVV across process development and GMP manufacturing, alongside emerging targeted LVV and LNP approaches.

Through Australian and international perspectives, the session will explore current manufacturing and translational challenges, regulatory considerations, and what emerging approaches, including in vivo CAR-T, could mean for the next generation of cell therapies.
