About
From the revolutionary ‘New Look’ Christian Dior unveiled in 1947, to Balenciaga's sculptural modernist designs of the 1950s, and finally Yves Saint Laurent's defiant "Rive Gauche" collection of the 1960s—which would ultimately mark the end of traditional Parisian haute couture—relive a spectacular period which utterly redefined high fashion the world over. Dr Anna Lebovic is a cultural historian and a highly experienced lecturer, researcher, and tour leader. Anna was awarded a PhD in history from the University of Sydney, and her doctorate was the first academic history of America's pre-eminent fashion magazine, Vogue.
