About

Drawing has been key to artistic training since charcoal was used in prehistory. Techniques are quick and immediate, a type of brainstorming in sketching out ideas. Drawings can be used in planning compositions, presenting ideas for large projects to clients, or as finished works in their own right. In this beautifully illustrated lecture, we discover the drawing techniques of the Great Masters. Now working as a freelance lecturer in the History of Art, Lynne originally trained as a fine artist and has taught painting, drawing and printmaking in higher and adult education.
