About
The Unhealthy Muslim is a one-day Islamic wellness conference that brings together faith and practical health across five core areas: nutrition and Sunnah-based eating, sleep and recovery, healthy ageing, intimacy and fitness for marriage, body image and weight management, safe strength training, and the spiritual responsibility of caring for the body as an amānah (trust from Allah).
Speakers address real-life challenges—shame, insecurity, gym culture, injury, and confusion about “Islamic” health advice—through evidence-informed sessions grounded in Islamic guidelines, emphasising moderation, balance, and actionable habits attendees can start immediately.
The event is designed for Muslims who want a holistic, deen-aligned approach to looking after their physical and emotional health so they can thrive in daily life, relationships, and worship.
