The Gold Coast Off Season Rugby Speed Academy is a 5-week face-to-face coaching program designed specifically for 9-14-yr old Rugby League and Rugby Union players who want to become faster and more explosive on the field.
Players will work on the key areas of rugby speed, including acceleration, agility and change of direction, with a strong focus on improving technique and those crucial first 5-10 metres. The off season provides the perfect opportunity to focus on speed development without the demands of weekly games and regular team training. Players won't just train for 90 minutes and then wait until the following week, they'll also receive weekly at home training and ongoing support through a private WhatsApp group, including the ability to send through videos for technique feedback and correction. With the academy limited to just 15 players, each athlete will receive plenty of individual coaching and feedback throughout the five weeks.
