On the Weekend of the 6th -8th November, on behalf of the Mary Island Fishing Club DERBY and the Broome Fishing Club, we wish to invite all members of all clubs to compete in the Annual Kimberley Interclub at the Willare Bridge Roadhouse on the Derby Hwy. Get your fishing mates together for boat or land based barra fishing and head along for a seriously awesome weekend, you could win for your club the Infamous Interclub Perpetual Trophy which is displayed at Willare Roadhouse all year round. The Derby will be eager to regain their rightful bragging rights over the river (well it is in their shire!) in 2026 after last loss to Broome. With 12 wins to Broome & 7 to Derby each since the inaugural comp in 2007, the 20th annual interclub will again come down to the wire in the battle for the bragging rights to the river!! Friday Night, 6th November will be a compulsory meal and briefing along with friendly sledging and party tunes at Willare Roadhouse. Registrations from 5pm, briefing will be at 7.30pm sharp with dinner starting at 7pm. Fishing will be from 7am Saturday through till before 10am Sunday morning. (ie Fishing all Saturday night O.K.). Brunch will be served during presentations Sunday.
