About
We all give something important to Rotary — our time.
So what should Rotary give us in return?
At our next meeting, David Baguley will lead an interactive session exploring “Getting Value from Your Rotary Membership.”
With so many competing demands on people's time, successful Rotary Clubs need to offer more than opportunities to raise money and serve the community. Members also need to feel that their involvement is worthwhile, rewarding and enjoyable.
But value means different things to different members.
• Is it friendship and fellowship?
• Making a difference in the community?
• Learning and personal development?
• New experiences and connections?
• Leadership opportunities? Or …
• Simply enjoying being part of a great group of people?
David will develop a Value Statement for an effective Rotary Club and then invite members to assess how Gold Coast Rotary measures up.
This is not just a presentation — we want your input.
