Bone Mother Beltane~ Wheel of the Year Ceremony

About
Join us as we celebrate the energies of High Spring through honouring the traditions of our ancestors and the turning of the Wheel of the Year in the modern day.
About the Event:
Bone Mother Temple welcomes you to a beautiful day of ritual, connection and seasonal celebration as we immerse ourselves in the energies of Beltane, honouring the flourishing of the Earth, the awakening of vitality and the ancient meeting of the Divine Feminine and Sacred Masculine.
Beltane, celebrated in the modern Pagan Wheel of the Year, marks the midpoint between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice. It is a season associated with fertility, abundance, passion, creativity, vitality and the sacred union of complementary forces.
This is a community event open to all who are seeking to explore the realms of spiritual practice, deepen their knowledge, or connect with other like-minded folk in a nurturing community circle. This ceremony is welcome to all genders, and to those aged 16 and above.
*Please note anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.*
We have curated this Beltane Wheel of the Year Ceremony with seasonal rituals and activities that honour the traditional roots of this sacred time while also paying respect to the beautiful lands where we gather and reside.
What to Expect:
~ Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a Ritual Smoke Cleansing, Rattle & Drum Sound Clearing & Ritual Oil Anointing and welcomed into Temple Space.
~ We will then take our place in the circle and set the energy with a Grounding Meditation.
~ After we are settled, we will introduce ourselves, communicate the agreements of the space, and then move into our seasonal ritual activities.
~ Ritual Activities will include seasonal Beltane crafting, ritual and journeywork exploring the energies of the Divine Feminine and Sacred Masculine, and the sacred union of complementary energies.
~ We will explore the symbolism and traditions of Beltane and reflect upon the ways these ancient seasonal energies may be experienced within our own lives, relationships, creative practices and spiritual paths.
~ Upon completing the ritual activities, we shall gather for a shared Beltane Lunch before continuing into our journeywork and final Sharing Circle.
*All Sharing is Confidential and does not leave the Temple.*
~ We then close the energy of the circle and Temple.
What You Need to Bring:
~ A small offering for the Temple Altar that represents fertility, virility, vitality, abundance, creativity, passion or the flourishing of life in relation to the Beltane seasonal energies.
~ An item of offering in honour of the Divine Feminine or Sacred Masculine. This may be something handmade, something from nature, a flower, candle, crystal, symbol or another intuitively chosen object that holds personal meaning for you.
*You will take this item home with you at the end of the day*
~ A Yoga mat, as we will be lying down for meditation and journeywork.
~ A plate of food to share for Lunch.
*There are no cooking facilities in the hall, so please bring something that can be re-heated or eaten as is. We ask you consider Gluten & Nut Free options for your contribution.
~ Please dress in layers as we may heat up and cool down with activity and bring blankets or cushions for your comfort. We will also supply these, but we want everyone to feel comfortable throughout the day. Chairs will also be available.
*You may also wish to dress to the Theme of Beltane inspired by the colours of the land at this time or traditional Beltane associations or in expression of your Inner Masculine or Feminine, we honour everyone's individuality in temple.
~ A journal and pen for reflection throughout the ceremony.
ALLERGIES:
If you have allergies or food sensitivities, please bring something safe for you to eat and state any allergies on your ticket or send us a message so we are aware.
