Location
Hughes Community Centre
About
Join UC LASA and Latin Dance Social Club for a fun, beginner-friendly bachata workshop at Hughes Community Centre.
Learn with instructors Ary and Jason, who have taught bachata together for over 10 years. They have taught everything from beginner bachata fundamentals through to advanced choreography, and competed at a national level. They are always excited to welcome new people to the Canberra dance community.
This relaxed one-hour workshop will introduce you to bachata and its foundational steps. No previous dance experience is needed. After the workshop, stay for 45 minutes of social dancing and enjoy putting what you’ve learned into practice.
Come along, meet people and share a dance in a friendly, inclusive community environment. We want everyone to feel welcome, comfortable and respected. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in.
