Clued In: Understanding My T1D - High School Group

This is an online, OT-led program designed to help adolescents aged 13-17 with Type 1 Diabetes better understand their body’s internal signals (interoception) in relation to blood glucose changes.
Across three structured sessions (run over 3 consecutive weeks), participants (with a parent/caregiver) will learn to:
• recognise early body clues associated with low and high blood glucose, as well as increased ketones
• understand what these body signals may mean
• build confidence communicating how they feel to parents, teachers, and others
The program is delivered online but involves activities which are hands-on and interactive.

These sessions are for High-School teens aged 13-17. If you have Primary-School aged kids aged 6-12, please register them for the Primary-School Group here.

Your booking automatically registers you for all 3 sessions and are designed to build on skills in each session. Please ensure you attend every one of the 3 sessions below.
