Vocal Waves is a dynamic, non-auditioned, community choir for adults over 18 years.

How we operate -
• Vocal Waves runs on a two Semester basis across the year - full benefits are achieved by participating in a full semester -
○ Semester 1 is Terms 1 and 2 - culminating in a mid-year concert
○ Semester 2 is Terms 3 and 4 - culminating in a season of community Christmas performances
• Rehearsals are Monday nights from 6pm - 8pm on campus at St Hilda's School, Southport
• Choose to register by Term OR by Semester - registrations by Semester attract a discount
2027 TERM DATES (Rehearsal Dates) -
• Session 1 - Semester 1 - Term 1 - Monday 1st February to Monday 22nd March
• Session 2 - Semester 1 - Term 2 - Monday 12th April to our mid-year concert on Saturday 19th June
• Session 3 - Semester 2 - Term 3 - Monday 12th July to Monday 13th September
• Session 4 - Semester 2 - Term 4 - Wednesday 6th October to Monday 6th December
Early-Bird registration -
• Early-Bird pricing is automatically applied for registrations made during our Early-Bird registration periods - see below
• Payments outside of the Early-Bird registration periods attract a $5 admin/processing fee which will be added to the amounts listed below
Registration categories (Early-Bird pricing) -
• Full fee registration - $140.00 per term / $266.00 per semester
• Pensioner registration - $119.00 per term / $226.10 per semester - 15% discount - valid pensioner card required
• Full-time students - $119.00 per term / $226.10 per semester - 15% discount - valid student ID card required
• St Hilda's community members - $105.00 per term / $199.50 per semester - 25% discount - valid for current St Hilda's staff, parents, and old girls

YOUNG ADULT INCENTIVE PROGRAM - Vocal Waves offers an incentive to young adults aged between 18 - 25 years to explore choral singing whilst still receiving the full benefits of the Vocal Waves programs. Simply use the code "2027YA" at check-out to receive a further 50% discount on any registration fee! Conditions apply - members must be 18-25 years of age in 2027. Age verification may be required.

Please read our 'Vocal Waves - Policy Document - v2027-01' (click the link or scan the QR code below) - individuals must read, agree with, and adhere to the policies contained within this document in order to register and participate in Vocal Waves programs. Acknowledgement and agreement is a condition of registration.

Registration fees and charges are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, registration fees may be transferred to a later date within the same calendar year at the discretion of the event organiser. Transfers will not be considered for change of mind.
