An Afternoon of Carols, Welsh Favourites and Songs for the Season
Celebrate the joy of the festive season with an afternoon of beautiful music as the Geelong Welsh Ladies Choir and the Victoria Welsh Male Choir come together for a very special Christmas concert.
Set in the beautiful surrounds of Christ Church, Geelong, Making Christmas Memories will bring together the rich tradition and warmth of Welsh choral singing with much-loved Christmas carols, seasonal favourites and songs that celebrate friendship, community and the memories we make at this special time of year.
Under the direction of Jeanette John, Director of the Geelong Welsh Ladies Choir, and Rushan Hewawasam, Director of the Victoria Welsh Male Choir, audiences will experience the distinctive sounds of both choirs individually, as well as the wonderful impact of the two choirs joining together in song.
Whether you have a connection to Wales, a love of choral music, or simply want to begin your Christmas season with an uplifting afternoon of music, we would love you to join us.
Bring your family and friends, sing along to some familiar favourites, and share in an afternoon designed to do exactly what its title promises — make Christmas memories together.
