Date: Saturday 24 – Sunday 25 October 2026 Cost: $75 per Scout Registration closes: Friday 16 October 2026, or earlier if capacity is reached.
Start – Saturday
* Cheltenham Railway Station, bag drop at station car park (Park Road entrance).
* Patrol departure time: 8:30am or 9:00am, to be confirmed.
* Patrol Leaders check in 15 minutes before departure.
Finish – Sunday
- 1:00pm at Renfrey Gardens, Blessington Street, St Kilda.
What to expect
* Teams navigate Melbourne using public transport, completing activities and following clues.
* Overnight group accommodation, dinner, breakfast and Sunday lunch provided.
* Saturday lunch is BYO or purchase.
* Activities and locations are kept secret from Scouts.
Required equipment
* Saturday lunch or money to buy food
* Myki with at least $10 credit
* Scout scarf (uniform not required)
* Weather-appropriate clothing and wet-weather jacket
* Change of clothes, including shoes
* Sleeping bag and sleeping mat (no stretchers)
* Toiletries and torch
* Patrol hiking tents, packed together in one bag
* Overnight gear in one clearly labelled bag for transport to the sleeping location
* Charged mobile phones with Google Maps, web access and phone credit; bring a power bank (no charging facilities overnight)
Patrol requirements
* Minimum 4, maximum 8 Scouts per patrol.
* Each Patrol must have at least two phones between members, including the Patrol Leader's phone.
* All Scouts must be registered with Scouts Victoria.
* Leaders, Venturers and Rovers are welcome to volunteer at no cost.
Registration and payment
* Register as a unit or individual patrol.
* Provide patrol name, Patrol Leader details, Scout numbers, dietary requirements and attending leader details.
* Registration is confirmed once full payment is received.
Important: Leaders must keep all activity details and locations secret from Scouts.
