CHECKERBOARD LOUNGE & BOB SEDERGREEN

Checkerboard Lounge return to The Courthouse with very special guest Bob Sedergreen, and whenever these two remarkable forces share a stage, the result is nothing short of magic.

This infectious roots/soul/blues/improv outfit reunites with one of Australia’s true jazz pioneers for an afternoon that promises joy, spontaneity and world‑class musicianship. Their first collaboration at Jazz Lab was such a hit — a night overflowing with fun, fire and phenomenal playing — that they released the live recording on limited‑edition vinyl. Now they’re bringing that same energy to Geelong for a not‑to‑be‑missed performance.

The Courthouse Theatre sits right in the heart of Geelong’s Cultural Precinct, offering an intimate setting with comfortable seating & clear sightlines and a relaxed foyer bar service. It’s an easy five‑minute walk from Geelong Station, with both a nearby carpark and street parking available.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon with these brilliant musicians.
