Caloundra District Netball Association (CDNA) is committed to growing boys’ participation in netball by providing opportunities to develop skills, build confidence and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.
Get ready for Junior Boys Development & Representative Netball!
Our Junior Boys Development Program is designed to help young male players refine their skills, build confidence and gain valuable experience with representative-level coaching in preparation for the upcoming representative trials.
KEY DATES
Wednesday 11 November 2026 – Development Session 1
Wednesday 18 November 2026 – Development Session 2
Wednesday 25 November 2026 – Trial 1
4:30pm to 6pm @ Caloundra Indoor Courts
Squad Announcement - 27th November 2026
Saturday 13 February 2027 - Squad Training / Final Trial
8:30am to 10am @ Caloundra Netball Courts

🏐 JUNIOR BOYS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The development sessions provide male players with the opportunity to refine their netball skills, improve their game awareness and gain exposure to representative-level coaching in a supportive environment before attending the representative trial.
🏐 REPRESENTATIVE TRIAL ATTENDANCE
Absence or exemption requests
If your child is unable to attend a scheduled development or trial date, a Request for Exemption must be submitted at least one week before the relevant trial date.
Illness on the day
If your child is unwell and unable to attend, please contact our Rep Convenor, Jackie, on 0420 308 522 before the scheduled start time.
Withdrawal from trials
If your child decides to withdraw from trials, please notify CDNA by email at admin@caloundranetball.org.au before the trial date. For withdrawals on the day of the trial, please send a text message to 0420 308 522.
Please note: The $35 program fee is non-refundable.
✅ TRIAL DAY REQUIREMENTS
To ensure players are ready to participate, please make sure they:
- Check in 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. If running late, please advise us.
- Wear a plain black top and black shorts (no pockets). Representative attire must not be worn.
- Remove all jewellery before arrival.
- Have fingernails trimmed.
- Long hair needs to be securely tied back.
- Have any required strapping applied before arrival.
- Bring a drink bottle and snacks.
Parents and spectators: Parents are required to check their child in and leave the trial area. Parents and spectators are not permitted to remain and watch the trial.
🌦️ WEATHER UPDATES
Any changes to sessions or trials due to weather will be communicated via the CDNA Facebook page.
If no announcement is posted, sessions and trials will proceed as scheduled. If dates need to change due to weather, an email will also be sent to the address provided during nomination.
