Strategic Governance and Leadership is a free, practical workshop for facilitators, leaders and members of peer support groups and organisations that are growing, becoming more formal or planning for long-term sustainability.
The session will explore incorporation, Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) requirements, higher-level compliance, risk management, leadership and succession planning. Attendees will also strengthen their understanding of strategic planning, oversight and accountability, with practical approaches to support effective governance, organisational growth and sustainable leadership.
Although this workshop builds on the concepts introduced in our Foundations of Good Governance workshop, you do not need to have attended Part I to join us in this workshop. Whether you are building on existing knowledge or exploring these topics for the first time, you are very welcome to attend.
Light catering and refreshments will be provided during the workshop. You are also welcome to stay after the session to connect and network with other attendees.
