Recently, the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency introduced
Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, Clinical Care (Standard 5) to ensure Aged Care facilities provide both safe care and timely response to residents’ changing health needs, and importantly, to ensure that continual improvement and education opportunities are afforded to staff providing care.
This course has been designed to enhance the professional development of Personal Care Assistants, EN’s and RNs of ALL levels working in Aged & Acute Care settings who may be faced with patients / residents who show signs of clinical deterioration.
