About
Our Local FIRM is a group of business owners and managers who get together for lunch each month to share news, views, opportunities and challenges in business and life. We have the golden rule of 'no selling' - we are there for the Fun, Inspiration, Relationships and Meaning because they are what the group is all about. At each lunch, we have a discussion on a particular subject of common interest and we collect songs from you to put on our Youtube Music playlists for everyone to enjoy. This month, we are having a timely and topical conversation about the upcoming State election led by two of our own who have nominated to run as Independent Candidates, namely Dave Vanderwolf for Croydon and Heena Sinha Cheung for Box Hill. This is an opportunity for you as a small business owner to have your say on what concerns you and what issues you want your State Government representative to be tackling for small businesses. It doesn't matter who you might be intending to vote for - Dave and Heena want to hear what supports small businesses want The song theme this month is 'relationships' - songs about human connection that resonate with you because that is what effective representation needs, listening and trust.
