About
To support a smooth and positive transition to secondary school, we will be holding an additional Year 7 Orientation Day on 3rd December.
This day is designed to provide some students with extra time and support to become familiar with their new school, meet other students and build confidence before commencing Year 7. We will be inviting students who:
- are the only student from their primary school transitioning to Boronia K-12
- whose primary schools have identified them as likely to benefit from an additional orientation experience.
The day will provide opportunities for students to meet new classmates, connect with staff, explore the school environment, and become more comfortable with the routines and expectations of secondary school. Our aim is to help students feel welcomed, connected, and confident as they begin their Year 7 journey.
