The Aldebaran Park Redwood Carnival is Maryborough’s flagship harness racing event. This all-trotting carnival is one of the most unique and popular events on Victoria’s provincial calendar, running this year from Friday, October 30 through to Sunday, November 1.
Redwood Sunday has been boosted to be one of the most lucrative trotting events in the southern hemisphere, featuring two massive Group 1 races—the Yabby Dam Farms Victoria Trotting Derby and the Aldebaran Park Redwood Classic—alongside the Group 3 Community Bank Maryborough Trotters Cup. Don’t miss this opportunity to see the best trotters in harness racing take to the track as they descend on Maryborough for the biggest weekend of the season.
Across the weekend, there are a number of fantastic events planned to welcome everyone:

Friday, October 30: Kick off the weekend with our Memorial Race Day, followed by a fantastic Halloween-themed trivia night.

Saturday, October 31: Join us for a dinner dance featuring a delicious meal and terrific live entertainment from the Bendigo band, Harlem.

Sunday, November 1: The massive Group 1 Race Day takes over the track for an unforgettable day of top-tier racing.
