Pascoe Vale District Candidates Forum

Come along to meet the candidates for the seat of Pascoe Vale in the 2026 State Election. All candidates for the lower house are invited and this event is free and open to the public. Our theme is 'Fairness in a time of climate change - tackling the cost of climate inaction'.

What climate/cost-of-living/resilience-related questions would you like to ask the candidates? What actions and policies relevant to climate are important to you? You can submit a question for our forum Chair - Climate Scientist and Science Communicator, Dr Linden Ashcroft - to ask the candidates on the night.

Places are limited for in-person attendance, so be sure to register and please also let us know if you can no longer make it so we can free up your spot for someone else.

Please note that:
• A sausage sizzle (Halal with vegan options) will be available from 6.30pm
• Doors open at 6:30 for a punctual start at 7pm.
• Free tea and coffee will be provided.
• This event will be recorded by Climate Action Merri-bek
• We would be very grateful for any gold coin donations to cover the cost of the venue hire
