Spooky Trivia Night - Fundraising Event for Local Short Film

Join us for a night of ~spooky~ trivia to help raise funds for our short film 'A Tale as Old As Time'!

Your support will help us create bespoke period costumes, secure our dream filming location, hire A-grade equipment, feed our hardworking cast and crew, and cover the many behind-the-scenes costs of independent filmmaking.

We'd also love to provide an honorarium to our cast and crew. While everyone has volunteered their time because they believe in this story, we'd love the opportunity to give something back to the talented artists who are helping bring it to life.

Our goal is to create a darkly witty fantasy short film that showcases the amazing talent of Melbourne's emerging film community.

'A Tale as Old as Time' is a comedic period fantasy short film with horror elements. Inspired by TV shows like 'The Great' and 'My Lady Jane' and the timeless wit of Jane Austen, our film playfully explores the female dating experience, which sometimes feels as if, to find love, you need to sell your soul to the devil of dating apps.

Created by two Melbourne women, ‘A Tale as Old as Time’ is an independently produced passion project that brings together an incredible team of emerging cast and crew.

Please help us make some movie magic!
