Year 7 Orientation Day

Homebush Boys High School warmly welcomes the cohort of Year 7 2027 and their families to attend Orientation Day on Tuesday 1st December. After 9:00am, students will be able to sign in and receive their information pack from our student leaders at the front of the school entrance. The official assembly will begin at 9:30am in the school hall. After the conclusion of the assembly, students will be escorted in groups to tour the school. Parents/caregivers are welcome to stay for a short Q&A session and visit our stalls (Payments, P&C, Uniform, and NSW Health), which will conclude at approximately 12:00pm.

Students are required to wear their primary school sport uniform during the day. They will participate in a range of activities including a short numeracy and literacy assessment as well as a Peer Support session. They will need to bring a drink bottle, recess, and a pencilcase containing general writing equipment (pencil, pen, eraser, ruler). Lunch will be provided for students.

Parents/caregivers will be responsible for collecting their sons between 2:00pm-2:15pm at the school gate.
