About

Are you a doctor or a nurse that works with children in your metropolitan or rural emergency department?

Are you looking to improve your knowledge and skills in acute paediatric medicine in a fun and immersive way?

If so, join us for our one-day simulation-based course about medical emergencies and acute deterioration in infants and children.

Designed and delivered by experts in simulation education and paediatric medicine, this course aims to increase your knowledge about some of the most common neonatal and paediatric medical emergencies, and how to recognise and manage very unwell and deteriorating patients.

Using a combination of presentations, skills stations and immersive simulation scenarios this course will help you to gain confidence, and give you hands-on experience in managing acutely unwell infants and children.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve your patient outcomes.

PLEASE NOTE: this course is popular and frequently oversubscribed. Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are currently being accepted for both 2027 course dates.
Places are limited, and a selection process may be required. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their EOI at least eight weeks before their nominated course date.
Successful applicants will receive a password to complete their registration through TryBooking. Submitting an EOI does not guarantee a place on the course.
