Music has changed enormously over the past 300 years. The ways we write, perform, listen to and share music have been transformed by printing, theatres, sheet music, radio, television, recordings and, more recently, the internet. Yet, despite these changes, one thing remains constant: across the centuries, people continue to write and sing about the same fundamental experiences — hopes, fears, relationships, politics and everyday life.
The Sunshine Coast Choral Society’s final concert for 2026, 20-20 Vision – Looking at Songs Through the Centuries, celebrates this remarkable connection between music and the human experience, exploring how songs have evolved while continuing to reflect the world around us.
Join us for an afternoon of wonderful music!
