About

With support from Wines of WA, the Wine Education Centre is conducting it inaugural one-day Wine Essentials course, designed for those starting out or currently working in Hospitality and trade in Perth. It is designed to provide accessible, industry focussed training that builds product knowledge, practical service skills and a deeper understanding of wine with a focus on WA and Australian wines.

The six hour course will provide training and education in the below:
• Sensory evaluation fundamentals
• White wine production
• Red wine production
• Wine storage options and ageing
• Wine service essentials
• Common wine faults and identification
• Food and wine pairing principles
• Overview of Australin wine regions
• Introduction to WA wine regions

WHAT YOU RECEIVE
All participants will receive:

Essentials Wine Tasting Guide
Wine tasting booklet
Copy of the course PowerPoint presentation
Certificate of Merit endorsed by Wines of Western Australia

The session will start at 9am and conclude approximately 4.30pm
