About

How do know if you have what it takes to be an entrepreneur?

Pursuing a career as an entrepreneur is a rewarding and risky endeavour. The success rate of first-time founders is just 18% yet despite the odds, founders are reported to experience greater health and happiness than employees.

The ‘Big 5’ personality traits are often associated with successful entrepreneurs and can also be honed to improve the outcomes for employees within the workplace.

Open to ECU alumni, staff and students, this 'Coffee n Think' session invites attendees to participate in an engaging and informative seminar led by the School of Business and Law’s Dr Geremy Farr-Wharton and is tailored to anyone interested in innovation, entrepreneurship and commercialisation, not just budding startup founders.

WHAT'S INVOLVED:
- Start your day with an engaging discussion on the ‘Big 5’ personality traits
- Discover where you sit on the spectrum of these common qualities
- Explore ways to develop these traits to benefit your career as an entrepreneur or employee

BYO coffee/hot drink for this inspiring start to your day!

WHEN: 9:00am - 9:45am | Wednesday 4 November
WHERE: CreatorsLAB (CC.1S.G40), Ground Floor, ECU City, Corner of Yagan Square and Wellington St, Perth
