About

SLOW GRIND FEVER returns to Gadigal Land for another intimate B.Y.O. D.I.Y. slow dance.
We play the slowest, slinkiest, spookiest, sleaziest, sweetest, swinginest old records we can find, and people dance real slow in a haze of smoke and dim red light. It's a good time.

For this 1952-1972 edition your host Richie1250 (Stone Love, PBS FM) is joined by special guests Milky Tea (Queen Bee DJs) and L-Static (Papa Disquo Records)

Due to the location this one has an earlier start and finish than usual (7pm to 1am), but once you're inside the dark, smokey dreamland ye shall find the clock has no hands, so have an early dinner and slip on in...
(Address will be emailed to ticket holders on the day at 10am, 5pm, and every half hour from 7 until 12. Note that the evnt runs from 7 until 1, earlier start and finish than usual)

NOTES:
- This is a BYO house party type situation with no bar, so bring what you need for the night.
- There will be a smoke machine going all night and it will get very smokey. The smoke is non-toxic but if you ain't into smoke machines this might not be the party for you...

- The dancefloor at Slow Grind events is for dancing. If you need to use your phone or have a conversation, please do it over in the hallway or go outside and get some fresh air. (We don't mind you taking a quick photo or video to post up later on or saying hello to your friends, but standing in the middle of the dancefloor staring down at your phone or talking loudly is poor Slow Grind etiquette and distracts people trying to achieve ecstasy on the dancefloor. Act like you're in a movie theatre, lean in and whisper.)
- Slow Grind Fever is not specifically a partnered dancing event. Some people dance with a partner, some with a group of friends, some alone with their eyes closed. You can do it how you wanna.
- The vibe of the night is very hazy and sultry, but the vibe is also about having good manners. Don't be all up in someone's personal space if they aren't inviting you.
