The Museum of Chinese Australian History and the Vietnamese Museum Australia are pleased to invite you to an afternoon in conversation with Samuel Xuyen Tam Pho, Lieutenant-Colonel, The Salvation Army in Australia.
In 2025, Samuel was commended a Chinese Australian Achievers Award for his life-long service to community helping Australian people in need. The Award was presented by the Museum of Chinese Australian History and supported by the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
Our Journeys to Achievement Narration Series highlights the challenges and achievements of Chinese Australians, such as Samuel, who have made outstanding contributions to Australian society. At this special event, Samuel will share his personal story, tracing his journey from humble beginnings in Vietnam through the challenges he faced in life, and the resilience and determination that enabled him to overcome adversity and succeed.
