Save the date!
It’s on again - now in its 5th year - the legendary Roos Loose in the Top Paddock music shindig on Tuesday, January the 26th 2027 (International Day of Music and Friendship!) in gorgeous North Katoomba in the scenic Blue Mountains. Bring a picnic! Bring some drinks! Bring a chair and some shade and bring your friends!
If you haven’t already experienced this one-day mini-festival it’s time to revise your schedule to accommodate what will be (as always) a stellar lineup of local and international artists.
We’ve had the great good fortune of welcoming several luminaries to our macropod-infested paddock over the last 4 years - the lIkes of We Mavericks, The Pigs, Mic Conway, Jan Preston, The Fuelers and Enda Kenny (to name but a few)-and 2027 will be no exception.
First up, The Beez will be celebrating 30 years of unbridled musical mania with their first show of jubilee year 2027 featuring Melbourne’s Sarah Busuttil and Silas Palmer playing songs fresh from their recent German tour. We are also overjoyed to have snaffled our great friends Mensch Monique! from Berlin featuring ex-Beez alumni Jule Schroeder, singer, songwriter and bassist, and her supremely talented co-songwriter Georg Sassnowski on guitar and vocals.A nd last but not least, our star guest from the Sunshine Coast, the glorious Sweet Felicia and her band The Honeytones with their irresistibly danceable jump swing blues. We’ll also have surprise guests from parts unknown and, of course, The Beez Pop-Up Op Shop where everything is free and available in two sizes - Deta’s and Rob’s.
Gate opens at 1pm, music from 2pm to 7pm. BYO food, drinks, chairs and shade. There will be a very cosy wet weather alternative so there’ll be no excuse - we look forward to seeing you there! Exact location (in case you didn’t already know) will be provided on purchase of ticket at trybooking- just click on the 'Contact Event Organiser' button (below) and send us a message and the venue will be revealed... and, as always, proceeds of ticket sales go entirely to the musicians.
Cheers
Deta and Rob
