About the bands:
IRKED (Newcastle, UK)
A proper punk band from the North East of England, making snotty radge music since 2022. Drawing from the raw energy of modern garage punk, ’80s hardcore and eggy post-punk, the band have quickly built a reputation for their fierce, high-energy sound and uncompromising live shows. IRKED have garnered early support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Amazing Radio A-List, WFMU, Soho Radio, Maximum Rocknroll, The Quietus, Louder Than War, Birthday Cake for Breakfast, God is the TV, Record Collector, Morning Star and Simon Le Bon (Whoosh Radio).
IRKED has sharing stages with heavyweights and outsiders such as Angel Du$t, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Big Joanie, Loose Articles, Meryl Streak, and GENN.
VIPERSNATCH (Darumbal/Rockhampton)
ViperSnatch is a punk band from regional Queensland, Australia. Formed in 2018 on Durumbal Land (Rockhampton, Queensland), they are uncompromising, commenting on social issues faced by femme and queer communities. ViperSnatch is a refusal to be palatable for the patriarchy.
DVRKWORLD (Lutruwita)
Dvrkworld are an alt-rock band from Lutruwita/Tasmania blending shoegaze, dream-pop, garage rock and grunge, drawing influence from artists such as Mazzy Star, Ride, The Black Angels and Slowdive. Dvrkworld has performed at Dark Mofo (2025) and Party in the Paddock (2026), and has supported cult US band The Brian Jonestown Massacre at the Odeon Theatre, Nipaluna/Hobart in 2026. Their most recent single, Stimulation, was mixed and mastered by ARIA Award-winning producer Alex “Gormie” O’Gorman. Dvrkworld are working on their debut full-length album, slated for release in early 2027.
SAGE (Naarm)
Sage is a trans artist from Melbourne/ Naarm, known for “in-your-face”, politically charged “Bitch Punk”. Sage herself, a trans woman with a hell of an attitude and scream like a wailing bashnee alongside hard-hitting drummer Jareth Hammet, create music to express disgust for violence against women, homophobia, transphobia, factory farming, capitalism, social media, war and the feeling of being an outcast in today’s society.
HYDRANGEA (Dharug/Gundungurra)
Hydrangea makes noisy, sludgy punk rock music born from The Blue Mountains (Dharug/ Gundungurra land). They champion stories of the human experience through a femme, queer and First Nations lens. Hydrangea’s sound spans from noise rock to doom metal and remains reminiscent of a plethora of 90s bands, but always something you can mosh to like PJ Harvey, Bikini Kill and The Jesus Lizard.
