The countdown to Christmas is on, and our much-loved Santa Trains are returning for 2026, bringing festive fun, unforgettable memories and a little extra Christmas sparkle to the Mornington Peninsula!

Following the incredible popularity of previous years, we're making this year's celebrations even more special with our magical Twilight Santa Trains!

Imagine climbing aboard our beautifully decorated heritage train as the sun begins to set, with the festive atmosphere building and the excitement of meeting Santa filling the air. Whether you choose a daytime adventure or a magical evening journey, there's something special for the whole family to enjoy!

Santa himself will be travelling aboard our heritage trains, ready to meet our excited young passengers and help make their Christmas wishes come alive.

 Experience the magic of twilight!

For something extra special, join us for our Twilight Santa Trains and experience the wonder of a Christmas railway adventure as daylight fades into evening.

Twilight departures:

• Saturday 5 December
• Friday 11 December
• Friday 18 December

Evening departure times: 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

 Enjoy our traditional daytime Santa Trains!

Prefer a daytime Christmas adventure? Join us on our regular Santa Train dates and enjoy the festive atmosphere at the railway, with heritage trains hauled by diesel or steam locomotives.

Daytime Santa Train dates:

• Sunday 6 December
• Saturday 12 December
• Sunday 13 December
• Saturday 19 December
• Sunday 20 December

Daytime departure times:

• 8:30 am — Diesel-hauled train
• 10:00 am — Steam-hauled train
• 11:15 am — Steam-hauled train
• 12:45 pm — Steam-hauled train
• 2:00 pm — Steam-hauled train

Steam and diesel locomotive operations are subject to locomotive availability and weather forecasts.
