Tree Sprites Bush Kindy is an all-weather play group for children between 4 years and 10 years of age held in various natural environments including bushland, creeks, forest and grassland located in picturesque Tallebudgera on the Southern Gold Coast where children can experience the freedom and confidence found playing in and utilising natures resources.
We offer children various outdoor landscapes with supervised risky play opportunities that are essential for healthy growth and development, offer an abundance of exploration, discovery and investigation, foster healthy life attitudes both physically and mentally and that are optimal for children to begin the process of self-risk assessment and critical thinking through self-directed, supervised and supported play activities.
Our play groups are run in all forms of weather conditions including days that are sunny, rainy and cloudy unless it is unsafe to do so (extreme wind over 40kms/h, heat over 35 degrees, thunder and lightening storms, cyclones).
We keep our group numbers low so children can experience a deeper connection to country along with leaving as little impact on the flora and fauna instilling in the children respect and love on how to nurture and care for the world around them.
