About the Webinar
Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) is now legal across Australia and is becoming an increasingly common topic in psychological practice and healthcare settings. This webinar will provide a practical overview of VAD eligibility, processes and the role of psychologists, with a particular focus on older adults and residential aged care settings. Whether you're supporting someone considering VAD, asked to provide input on decision-making capacity, or working with families after a VAD death, you'll gain practical knowledge to respond confidently and within legislative requirements. We'll also discuss the legislative changes coming into effect in April 2027 and their implications for practice.
