About
LOUD WOMEN and Manifesto present IRKED (UK) with Dvrkworld (TAS/Lutruwita), Sarah Jane & The Noise and Alex Fears.
IRKED (Newcastle, UK)
Proper punk from the North East of England, making snotty radge music since 2022. Drawing from the raw energy of modern garage punk, ’80s hardcore and eggy post-punk, the band have quickly built a reputation for their fierce, high-energy sound and uncompromising live shows. IRKED have garnered early support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Amazing Radio and more.
Ahead of their self-recorded, self-titled debut EP IRKED (Wrong Speed Records) they were tipped by BBC Introducing ‘Ones To Watch’, and awarded PRS Foundation’s Open Fund for Music Creators to record their debut album. Their anticipated debut album The Grievance was released May 2026 on Wrong Speed Records - entering the UK Official Download Charts at position 21, and featured by Bandcamp Release Radar, charting as a top-selling album for both Garage Punk and Egg Punk.
IRKED has shared stages with heavyweights such as Angel Du$t, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Big Joanie, Loose Articles, Meryl Streak, and GENN.
Don't miss them on their debut AU tour.
DVRKWORLD
Alt-rock band from Lutruwita/Tasmania blending shoegaze, dream-pop, garage rock and grunge, drawing influence from artists such as Mazzy Star, Ride, The Black Angels and Slowdive. Notable performances include Dark Mofo (2025), Party in the Paddock (2026), and supporting cult US band The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
SARAH JANE & THE NOISE
Coming out swinging from Sydney and Wollongong, Sarah Jane & The Noise deliver alt-rock with teeth. Emerging into the local music scene in 2025, their debut single ‘i don’t wanna’ and sophomore single ‘tasteless tongues’ introduced the band as a voice for overthinkers, overcoming feeling unheard and misunderstood in an unforgiving, high-pressure society.
ALEX FEARS
Alex Fears is a Non-binary, neurodivergent punk artist from Sydney, Australia. With a difficult to pin down and live shows that are equal parts chaotic and unpredictable as it is fun to watch. Alex Fears uses their experience growing up with ADHD to make music to help audiences feel less alone and feel connected.
Fears stands for being your true authentic self in the face of an increasingly apathetic world.
