BENDIGO CITY FC – SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAY SOCCER PROGRAM

Six days of football, fun and skill development this summer!

Bendigo City FC is excited to launch our Summer School Holiday Soccer Program, offering young footballers a fantastic opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, make new friends and enjoy the game they love!

Led by our new Senior Head Coach, Billy Marshall, alongside Bendigo City FC academy coaches and players, each two-day program will combine quality coaching, skill development and plenty of football fun in a positive and supportive environment.

⚽ WHAT TO EXPECT

Morning Sessions – Skill Development

Our morning sessions will focus on age-appropriate football development, with players grouped to ensure activities are engaging, challenging and suited to their abilities.

Younger players will develop the four fundamental football skills:

• 1v1 situations

• Striking the ball

• Running with the ball

• First touch

Older players will focus on the four key moments of the game:

• In possession

• Out of possession

• Attacking transitions

• Defensive transitions

Afternoon Sessions – Games, Tournaments & Fun! 🏆

After lunch, it's time to put those skills into action! Players will enjoy fun football challenges, small-sided games and mini tournaments, with prizes up for grabs and plenty of opportunities to enjoy themselves.

📍 PROGRAM DETAILS

Venue: Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve

Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm daily

Registration: From 8:45 am

Age Groups: Children aged 5–14 years (born between 2013 and 2021)

Who Can Attend? Everyone! Our program is open to all young footballers, regardless of ability, experience or club affiliation. You do not need to be a Bendigo City FC player to participate.

💰 PROGRAM PRICING

• Single Day: $65 per player

• Two-Day Program: $110 per player

• All Six Days: $300 per player

🎒 WHAT TO BRING

Parents and guardians are asked to ensure their child brings the following items each day:

• Water bottle(s) – with enough water to stay hydrated throughout the day, particularly in warm weather.

• Appropriate clothing – comfortable sportswear suitable for the day's weather conditions.

• Football boots and shin guards – for safe participation in football activities.

• Morning snack – for the scheduled snack break.

• Packed lunch – to enjoy during the lunchtime break.

• Sun protection – sunscreen and a hat for breaks between activities.

Please ensure all personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name.

👨‍👩‍👧 IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

This is a drop-off and pick-up program, with players supervised by program staff throughout the day.

Parents and guardians are welcome to attend and watch the afternoon activities from 2:15 pm onwards each day.

Further information regarding the daily schedule and program arrangements will be emailed to registered families closer to their selected dates.
