About
Despite Melbourne's thriving comedy scene and a birthplace for crops of bona fide superstars from all walks of life, we continue to observe a lack of diversity in comedic talent. Therefore, Urban Comedy Slam was created to fill this gap by showcasing some of Melbourne’s best up-and-coming comedic talent from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. Each event four comedians will dish out their best materials at the cosy MC Showroom situated in the famed Chapel Street precinct.
