About
Pairing two sumptuous works for the piano, Chris Nankervis presents Brahms’ six Piano Pieces Op. 118, and Kym Dillon’s Sonata for Piano. The late Brahms pieces, dedicated to none other than Clara Schumann, cover a spectrum of moods and are among his most loved pieces. The thrilling Sonata by Dillon was premiered by the composer at the 2019 New and Exploratory Arts Laboratory (“NEAL”) in Geelong, and is a true concert hall work.
