About
Sergei RACHMANINOV Études-Tableaux, Op. 39
One of Rachmaninov’s solo piano masterpieces, this cycle contains a broad palette of colours, rhythms, harmonies and textures. There is a sense of freedom, which comes from expressive breadth and a rich spectrum of melodies – some of them quick and precise, others broad and moving as Russian folk tunes.
Gintaute Gataveckaite is an award winning, internationally acclaimed Lithuanian pianist based in Melbourne.
