About

The performance career of cellist Josephine Vains encompasses modern and historical cello. An adventurous spirit has taken her to some far-flung concert venues, from a 1000 year old cave in the heart of China to mountain-top Bach in the French Alps.

Josephine is joined by versatile and highly sought-after pianist Stewart Kelly, in a program based around the 19th century ideals of 'tempo rubato', that includes the music of Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms, Webern and Franchomme.
