About

Internationally award-winning pianist Coady Green presents a program of composers obsessed by exploiting all possibilities from the sonorities of the piano. Messiaen's Twenty Contemplations on the Infant Jesus is one of the pinnacles of the piano repertoire from this century. Selections from this cycle are paired with rarely-performed works by Russian pianistic titan Anton Rubinstein, Chopin's Polonaise-Fantasie and excerpts from Franz Liszt's Harmonies poétiques et religieuses.
