About

One of Australia’s most talented sopranos Chloe Lankshear joins us for a declamation of passionate love songs from mid eighteenth-century France. Flirting with the limits of our human desire, these rarely performed works by Francoise Couperin and Antoine Lefebvre, frenetically exchange love for hate or despair for joy. Enjoy this uninterrupted pastiche of instrumental trios and dramatic cantatas with the angelic and rich tone of Lankshear’s voice. This program will pull at your heartstrings!
