About
Charis Australia Calls Present and Aspiring Catholic Charismatic Leaders - to 'Surrender to the Fire of Pentecost'
This assembly will bring together present and aspiring leaders from across the family of CCR in our nation, each of whom share the grace of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Pope Francis has a heart for unity; he has a heart for mission, and he has a conviction that the Charismatic Renewal has been and will continue to be a force for renewal in the church and the world. Let us say our “Amen” to that vision and be strengthened and unified as we gather in Sydney under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
This is an important time for the church in Australia, a time of both discernment and action. Let’s seek God’s vision together with the theme 'Surrender to the Fire of Pentecost'.
We look forward to hearing from Archbishop Julian Porteous who will accompany our gathering on behalf of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference.
